Scalo Ditella is the main landing. It is situated to the east near the inhabited center of San Pietro where a concrete pier, almost 100m long and 10m wide, rises on a sandy bottom allowing the landing of hydrofoils, ferries and the carrying out of normal economic activities. The south side of the pier is for the exclusive use of hydrofoils, the head of the pier together with the first 5 meters of the northern slope are reserved for the landing and maneuvers of the ferry; the remaining part of the pier, to the north, is for fishermen and boaters. The pier is affected by the winds of the I, II and IV quadrant and represents a good shelter in the case of winds of the third quadrant.

Anchoring in a 200 m radius from the pier head is forbidden. The services of fuel, water supply, outdoor storage, waste collection and mooring are provided, besides, adjacent to the port area, there is a slipway, a mobile crane, an ATM, a pharmacy, a general store food, restaurants, hotels and medical service.

For boaters near the island’s port there is a buoy field with transfer service. It is recommended especially during the summer to book to secure a place.
