Marina of Ragusa

The Marina of Ragusa draws its origins from an old small fishing village, located in front of the African coasts, which had a small sandy harbor, ideal for pulling boats after a tiring day of fishing. There was also a small pier, useful for loading on the carob boats, pitch stone, asphalt, to take further offshore to wait for cargo ships waiting to raise the anchor for distant destinations. From all this comes the Marina di Ragusa, a welcoming seaside resort with an ideal Mediterranean climate 8 months a year, which welcomes Italian and foreign tourists, attracted by its beaches of fine golden sand, in a context of serene and orderly sociability and from which you can make quick visits to the most attractive and evocative Sicilian towns like Taormina, Mount Etna, Piazza Armerina, Caltagirone and the Sicilian Baroque cities of the Val di Noto.
