Since 1910, the historic restaurant of Lipari overlooking the splendid acropolis.

Located in the panoramic Piazza del Municipio in Lipari, near the typical Neolithic castle that houses the Archaeological Museum, the restaurant da Filippino is a rustic, quaint and atmospheric setting, an important interpreter of the excellence of Aeolian taste.

Today, after 100 years of history, the Filippino is a modern and functional restaurant, divided into two internal rooms and a large and renewed air-conditioned terrace. The furniture, in dark solid wood and soft colors, is sober and elegant, with antique furniture and a warm fireplace.

The specialties are mainly based on seafood, regional, with dishes based on fresh fish caught daily, together with raw materials of the island, such as vegetables and oils, which enhance the flavor. The restaurant also has an excellent wine cellar with a selection that includes more than 100 labels, in addition to eighty grappa.
Overall, it offers the availability of 250 seats, but the reception and attention to the needs of each customer are always at home: today as in the early twentieth century.
