Port of Sorrento
Sorrento, told myriad of songs and films, is a pearl that gives its name to the peninsula that closes the southern arm of the Gulf of Naples. Built on a cliff, it offers a breathtaking view that has enchanted poets and artists since the dawn of time. Next to its small but rich historical center, also reachable from the neighboring countries equally worthy of note (Vico Equense, Meta, to name just a couple), the port of Sorrento is an excellent destination for those looking for a strategic point to visit Campania , near as it is in Naples and the islands of the gulf (above all Capri). The structure is able to accommodate pleasure craft up to a maximum draft of 6 meters, with assistance, surveillance and supply of running water and electricity.
