Ferrara and the cinema boast a secular history in which some of the greatest directors and actors have been able to tread the streets of our territory. With over 280 titles including films, short films, documentaries and scripts, the Ferrara area can be considered one of the most prolific movie sets in Italy. Michelangelo Antonioni, Luchino Visconti, Roberto Rossellini, Mario Soldati, Florestano Vancini, Vittorio De Sica, Giuliano Montaldo, Pupi Avati, Ermanno Olmi … It is enough to mention a few names to understand how much the city of Ferrara has played a role of absolute importance for Italian cinema and international. Here, then, that if you are passionate about cinema, you can immerse yourself for a few hours in the streets, alleys, squares and settings of famous sets. On this tour you will be accompanied by a guide and your means of transport will be the bicycle. At the end, in a room inside a 16th century building in the city center, you can watch another fantastic experience that will take you to admire a projection of photographs of the city belonging to a private collection, taken between 1925 and 1928. The images make it possible to open a time window in an era of profound transformation and changes in the city. At the end of the screening you will be welcome guests of an aperitif.
