The Aeolian Islands offer countless exploration opportunities for nature lovers. Here are some of our guided tours:

Salina

Leaving behind the vineyards and capers of Salina you will discover that the “green pearl” of the archipelago can offer more than a trekking experience. Moreover all easily integrated with your food and wine tours. From the splendid setting of Pollara a trail will take you to the top of Monte dei Porri and then descend to one of the wildest areas of the island, along a path that leads to the small Leni on the south side of the island. The ideal route to enjoy the local fauna and to engage in landscape photography. Duration: 4 hours

Another recommended path will start from Valdichiesa to the other mountain of Salina, Fossa delle Felci; to get lost in the dense vegetation of acacias, pines and chestnut trees inside the ancient crater. The descent will lead to the small Malfa or to the language passing through several archaeological sites dating back to the Neolithic. Duration: 5-6 hours
Panarea

We offer the opportunity to take part in a tour that will start between the typical and eolian houses of the Ditella district and then head towards the natural spa of Calcara, a beach famous for its “fumaroles”. The route will continue towards the only mountain on the island, Punta del Corvo. The elevation of 420 meters will allow you to observe much of the archipelago. Duration: 3 hours

With an appointment instead in the characteristic village of San Pietro, fascinating in its contrast of modern ancient and local churches, it will be possible to penetrate the small island and get lost among the myrtle bushes and some cypresses. Duration: 2.5 hours
Lipari

A prepared guide will lead the exploration of the two highest peaks of Lipari. From the village of Quattropani branches off a path that leads to the top of Monte Chirica (602m), a characteristic formation whose southern slope is covered by the famous and very white pumice powder. The white landscape, which almost recalls a snow-covered peak, generates a stark contrast to the black sciara of the Stromboli fire. The trail continues in the direction of Sant’Eramo passing through the valley of Fiume Bianco, directed towards another peak: Monte S. Angelo (594m). Duration: 6 hours

For an alternative route you can start from the abandoned pumice quarries of Caolino, on the west side of the island, and then pass near the white walls to the oldest part of the island; where the fumaroles have left their multicolored marks on the rocks over time. The tour includes a visit to a natural pool that collects thermal waters at Timpone Pataso. This side of the island is the territory of the seagull, which can be observed for most of the year.
The route will end at the suggestive baths of San Calogero, which present exquisite examples of Greek and Roman architecture as well as the only example of Mycenaean Tholos outside the Aegean Sea. Duration: 5 hours
Volcano

The most popular trekking route leads to the mouth of the Fossa, the last active crater on the island. This is the only position from which you can admire the entire archipelago in one glance. The barren, almost lunar territory, certainly represents a different experience the other Aeolian paths. Duration: 2.5 hours
A more difficult path is represented by the continuation of the previous one. Going down to the caldera of Lentia, on the west side, the tour will head towards the recluse Grotta dell’Abate beach. Duration: 3/4 hours
