Description

The Costa Rossa is an area of Sardinia full of sparks and attractions, to visit accompanied by those who know the history of these places and is able to make you appreciate them. During this tour you can admire the Church of S.S. Trinity, built in the early eighteenth century by a smuggler, trafficker with Corsica, from which was also taken the statue of the Trinity itself.
Afterwards you can admire the splendid sea of the island from the Paduledda nuraghe, built on the sea and which contains all the typical characteristics of Sardinian construction par excellence. Typical of the island is also the Domus de Janas, the house of witches, in which, according to popular superstition, lived tiny beings, endowed with magical powers, such as goblins or fairies: a rare example available in this area is the Conca di li Fati (Cave of the Witches), consisting of an artificial cave dug in the hard reddish granite rock typical of the area.
At the end of the day you can visit the Torre Spagnola, emblem of the Isola Rossa, built at the end of the 16th century on a promontory almost 40 meters high above the sea to defend the coastal territories from Saracen pirates.
